Surprisingly, Murakami's colorful, cartoony, animated rococo exuberance perfectly compliments the gilded, glittering, decadent rococo of the palace. Don't you think Marie Antoinette would look smashing with this sculpture perched ever so delicately upon her powdered wig? The exhibition runs from September 14 through December 12, 2010. I think a field trip is in order...
